This creates a cable that can be used for all the familiar security, intercom, fire and alarm system applications, but with the added security of external grade PE. 

For underground conduit based application where there is risk of water penetration into the cable, Jelly Filled (“JFPP” suffix) versions that provide an extra level of protection are available.
