NX Desktop
Comprehensive, quick and agile. The NX desktop is a media player designed to make navigating your cameras easy. Display up to 64 video streams at a time or rearrange the layout to suit your needs with the Flex GRID user interface. Further essential features include:
- keyword search, capable of combing through a year’s worth of footage in less than a second,
- user management, allowing you to add or modify user access,
- secure video export; send single or multiple files, add timestamps, watermarks or text and password protect sensitive footage.
- built in browser; view images and URLs online and even incorporate them in your layout.
NX Server
The NX media server is both lightweight (75MB install file) and powerful, capable of supporting hundreds of clients and up to 128 streams per server. It will automatically discover compatible cameras, but you can also add streams manually from any device or 3rd party system.
NX’s server ‘Hive’ architecture synchronises all data simultaneously and ensures no single-point-of-failure. This unique setup enables system-wide updates with just one click. Furthermore, if one server does fail, automatic camera failover will activate and move all affected cameras onto a designated failover server in the Hive.

NX Cloud
By connecting to the NX cloud, you’ll be able to access your system from anywhere, anytime. Connect an unlimited amount of systems to a single account and easily view and share footage from different sites. The Cloud API even enables integration to other internet-connected 3rd party systems.
NX Mobile
NX Mobile is a user-friendly app available for Android and iOS devices. The app provides access to recorded or live footage from all systems connected to NX Cloud. You can use Smart Search to quickly find motion-based events and even dewarp 360 degree fisheye cameras.

Purchasing Information
The base software is free to download and use (you only pay for cameras you want to record), there are no ongoing fees (SMA/SSA) and you get free upgrades for the life of the software. In addition, camera licences are sold per camera, not in predefined bundles. ISCS is an authorised national distributor of NX Witness products and we can create camera licences in-house.
